Sat Registration
The Smart Education Foundation recommends that all students understand the importance of registering correctly for the SAT / ACT exams. Below are some highlights we would like you all to follow and review.
- If you are going to register for the SAT by mail, you'll need to get a "Registration Bulletin," from your personal guidance counselor at school.
- We recommend that you register online at www.collegeboard.com.
- Note: Not all students are eligible to register online, so make sure that you read all the directions and instructions very carefully.
- Be sure to register early to insure that you get the time and location of the test center of your choice!
- SEF suggests that students with disabilities call (609) 771-7137 for more information.
- Currently, the basic fee for registration is $41.50 in the United States. Included in the price are reports for you, your high school, and 4 colleges of your choice.
- Students may register via telephone if you have already registered for the exam, and you don't require any additional special forms. You can register with a major credit card by calling (800) SAT - SCORE.
- All registered students will receive an admission ticket a week before the test. The ticket will confirm your test date and location for the exam. Make sure that you bring it with the proper forms of identification to the test center. Please bring either a drivers license, photo ID, or passport, for identification purposes.
- The SAT / ACT scores will become available online after approximately 3 weeks.
Please remember to plan for deadlines and make sure that you apply for the exams in advance. The Smart Education Foundation is here to help you with any questions or inquiries. Feel free to contact our award winning customer service if you need assistance.
